The department of Veterans Affairs has announced it will be hosting a town hall in Phoenix on Wednesday. Officials hope to use time to allow veterans to provide their feedback on VA services and benefits.
The meeting will be held at the VA’s regional office, and it’s one of many being organized around the country.
According to VA secretary Robert McDonald the town halls were planned as a way to improve communication with veterans. Officials consider it to be an important part of rebuilding trust among those who use VA services.
National VA leaders will be briefed on the feedback after the meetings. Wednesday night’s town hall is open to the public.
