Navy to name vessel after Yuma

The Navy is naming its latest vessel after the city of Yuma. The USNS Yuma will be a Joint High-Speed Vessel. The Navy says Joint High-Speed Vessels are transport vehicles that serve in support of overseas operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, and special operations. The ship will be built in Mobile, Ala.
