Hell Canyon Bridge repairs this weekend
The Arizona Department of Transportation begins work Sunday morning on the final repairs to Hell Canyon Bridge, on State Route 89, between Prescott and Ash Fork.
Spokesman Dustin Kruegel says they completed some major repair work in March, but need to make adjustments.
"In March we did a major deck repair project and one of the steel plates has recently moved slightly," he said.
Krugel says there will be a narrowing of the roadway to one lane beginning at 6 a.m. Sunday. The plan is to have the highway completely reopened by 9 p.m. Wednesday.
