$5,000 Reward For Info On Camp Verde Jail Escapee
CAMP VERDE, Ariz. (AP) — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who escaped from a central Arizona jail.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says 28-year-old Wade Cole Dickinson fled on foot from the Camp Verde Detention Center on Saturday afternoon.
They say he reportedly was spotted late Saturday night near Interstate 17 but wasn't found after a search.
At the time of his escape, Dickinson was being booked on several charges including fraud and drug possession, allegedly occurring while he was on probation.
Authorities say he possibly was facing a 24-year prison term.
Dickinson reportedly scaled a wall in the jail's recreation yard and separate overhead security fencing to access the roof and climb down to the ground level.
