Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Support Paid Family Leave

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump don’t agree on much, but both have said they support the concept of paid family leave.

This marks the first time both major party nominees favor paid leave.

Clinton’s plan would allow up to 12 weeks, while Trump’s advocates for six.

Dave Wells, research director for the Grand Canyon Institute, has looked into how many states have paid family leave and why expanding that would be a positive step.
