With the deadline approaching, where are we on Secretary of State John Kerry's negotiations with Iran over nuclear weapons?
Melvin Endorses Ducey For Governor
Having pulled out of the race himself, Arizona Senator Al Melvin is supporting Treasurer Doug Ducey for the Republican nomination for Arizona governor.
Melvin dropped out of the race June 23, citing his inability to collect enough contributions to win public funding for his campaign.
The Tucson-area legislator announced Thursday he's endorsing Ducey, whom Melvin called "the very best choice for conservative voters" in the Aug. 26 primary.
Besides Ducey, the remaining GOP hopefuls are former Go Daddy executive Christine Jones, former Mesa Mayor Scott Smith, Secretary of State Ken Bennett, former U.S. Rep. Frank Riggs and former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas.
The winner will face Democrat Fred DuVal in the November general election. Republican Gov. Jan Brewer can't seek a third term.
