April 18, 2013

Patients of a Marana dental clinic may have been exposed to blood-borne diseases like hepatitis or HIV.

The Pima County Health Department is currently contacting 174 dental patients who were seen at the T Dental Clinic in Marana between January and July 2010.  The health department said they are contacting patients as a “precautionary measure."  In a release the department said, "at this time no cases of transmission of disease have been identified."

The T Dental Clinic is no longer open. The health department said it closed in July 2010. Former clinic patients can contact the Pima County Health Department at 520-243-7808.
