If you want to vote in this year’s Arizona primary election, today is the last day to register or update your current voter information with the secretary of state’s office.

The primary is August 30th, but early voting begins on Wednesday.

The primary includes races for U.S. Congress and the State Legislature. The state's presidential preference election was held in March. For a rundown of races, visit www.Arizona.vote.

Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan warns Arizonans that if you want to register online, make sure you’re using the correct website.

She says her office has been warned of solicitations sent to citizens, tricking them to disclose personal information. "They’re asking you to put in information. That’s what this looked like. It was coming in and it looked pretty official, and we thought this is not something official." The official registration website is Arizona.vote.

Since June 1, officials in Maricopa County have processed more than 34,000 new registrations. They’ve also received roughly 68,000 registration modification requests.
