Bar-S Foods is voluntarily recalling hot dogs and corn dogs due to possible contamination from listeria. The company’s corporate headquarters are based in Phoenix.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture said more than 370,000 pounds of chicken and pork hot dogs and corn dogs are included in the recall. Bar-S spokesman Manuel Rivera called the recall a “precautionary measure,” and said no illness related to the products has been reported.

Rivera said he believes only a minimal number of the five recalled varieties are currently on store shelves. Consumers can see a full list of the items on the company’s website and Rivera said they can return the products to stores for a refund.

Listeria can cause listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, people with weakened immune systems, pregnant women and their newborns. In some cases, the infection can cause death.
