The recent Air Force cheating scandal raised concerns about America's nuclear weapons. From how missile officers are trained, to the future of the country's aging arsenal.
Maricopa County Meets Federal Air Quality Standards
Maricopa County met federal air quality standards for the first time since 1970. Friday the Environmental Protection Agency approved the county’s plan to reduce dust pollution by five percent each year.
“The measures are controls on construction sites, and on sand and gravel operations, paving unpaved roads," said Jo Crumbaker of the Air Quality Department.
She said the controls on dust pollution will remain in place so the county will continue meeting air quality standards.
