Health care exchanges explained
Friday was the deadline for states to decide whether to create health care exchanges under the Affordable Care Act. But, at the request of a number of governors, the Obama administration has delayed the deadline until Dec. 14.
KJZZ's Dennis Lambert spoke with Dr. Dan Derksen of the University of Arizona who explains health care exchanges and where individuals and groups could buy health care plans. Derksen chairs the Public Health Policy Section of the Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
