Director of Arizona Department of Veterans' Services: Jobs are biggest concern
Veterans’ Day is Sunday, and events are planned throughout the state to honor the estimated 600,000 military veterans living in Arizona. That means a busy few days for Colonel Joey Strickland, the Director of the state Department of Veterans’ Services. KJZZ's Mark Brodie caught up with him after a ceremony in Gilbert. Strickland says his biggest concern is finding jobs for veterans just back from Iraq and Afghanistan.
