The staff at NPR Music is wrapping up the year the best way they know how: with their hotly contested list of the 50 Favorite Albums of 2013.
The pros and cons of Proposition 120
Among the nine ballot measures Arizona voters will consider on or before Nov. 6 is Proposition 120. The language of the proposition says, if passed, the Arizona Constitution would be changed to allow the state to declare its sovereign and exclusive authority and jurisdiction over the air, water, public lands, minerals and wildlife within its boundaries.
We hear from Bas Aja, Executive Vice President of the Arizona Cattlemen's Association, who supports Prop 120. We also hear the perspectives of opponent Sandy Bahr, Director of the Sierra Club's Grand Canyon Chapter.
