Amanda Luberto was born in California but considers herself a native to the Valley of the Sun. She studies at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and started at KJZZ in January 2016.

She has been interested in radio since starting school in 2013 and has since been a director for ASU’s college station, Blaze Radio. Outside of director duties and being a DJ, she co-hosts an “All Songs Considered”-style show for the station called “Note Worthy.” Luberto is also a co-founder and leader of ASU’s chapter of I Am That Girl, which allows her to help women discover self-love on campus and in the community.

Off air, you can find Luberto at the big indie concert that week, sipping at a local coffee shop or at an Arizona Coyotes game.
