We remember artist William Christenberry who died Monday at the age of 80. Much of his art was about the rural south and the passage of time and its effect on artifacts and landscapes.
U of A to study biodiesel-fueled mining
Researchers at the University of Arizona have won a $1.4 million grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The money will to go to study occupational and environmental health effects of underground mining equipment powered by biodiesel-blend fuels. The new fuels are being used in place of diesel in order to lower pollution exposure.
