Grand Canyon National Park Equestrian Unit To Perform At Rose Parade

When the Rose Parade steps off early New Year’s Day, in Pasadena, you may want to keep your eye out for entry number 18.

Emily Davis, a spokesperson for Grand Canyon National Park, said they are is sending its equestrian unit to this year’s parade.

“It’s a big deal. It’s a kick-off to the National Park Service’s Centennial, which is next year of course. And, we’re really excited to be there and to showcase our rangers and their talent and the horses and mules as well,” she said.

Five rangers, three horses and seven mules will join units from nine other National Parks on New Year’s Day.
