Is there still a place for the symphony, opera and dance in a Facebook and Twitter world? A conference wrapping up today in Tucson is looking at that question, specifically, whether high culture still has a place in contemporary America.
Daniel Asia is a professor of Music Composition at the University of Arizona and the director of the Center for American Culture and Ideas, which is putting on the two-day event.
