Possible Rain And Snow Showers Expected In Northern Arizona

March 13, 2014

Even though most of Arizona will be dry on Thursday, there could be some rain and snow showers in the north. Darrel Onton of the National Weather Service in Flagstaff said a fairly dry cold front could trigger precipitation.

“Some people may see some thunder there could even be some heavy showers, in there, both of rain and also grapple which is basically little snow pellets," said Onton.

But, Onton said widespread, significant accumulations of rain or snow are not expected.
