Lynn Kelly is the midday host from Monday-Thursday and the Weekend Edition host on Sunday. She first started with KBAQ in 1996 and made the move to KJZZ in 1999.
Lynn celebrated 25 years in radio in 2012, and has worked for six radio stations, both in news and other formats. While she enjoyed her time in classic rock radio – and has experience in print and television -- she calls hosting Weekend Edition “a dream come true.”
She considered it an honor to be part of the KJZZ newsroom team that covered the Tucson shootings with depth and professionalism. Lynn said the coverage of a difficult story was a huge team effort.
Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s in Education from the University of Phoenix. She has been married since 1998 and has an adult stepson.
A professed technology geek, Lynn loves learning how innovation gives humanity some pretty amazing tools.
