Prescott Woman Accused Of Assaulting Her Daughter
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) — A Prescott woman is in custody for allegedly assaulting her teenage daughter at the family's home.
Prescott police said 38-year-old Lisa Lugo was arrested early yesterday. She has been booked into the Yavapai County Jail on suspicion of felony charges of aggravated assault, child abuse and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
Police said Lugo allegedly slammed her 14 year-old daughter against a door and grabbed both of her arms, leaving scratches, bruises and abrasions. They said Lugo's 10 year-old daughter witnessed part of the alleged assault. Police said Lugo was uncooperative and verbally abusive toward them and also appeared to be intoxicated. They said she took a breath test and had a blood-alcohol level of .209 percent.
Police did not immediately know Monday afternoon if Lugo has legal representation yet.
