Tipsy Tow Program Offers To Bring Inebriated People And Their Cars Home
AAA is once-again offering to pick up drunk drivers and take them home with its Tipsy Tow program this New Year’s Eve. And, spokeswoman Michele Donatti says they’ll also tow your vehicle home.
“That’s kind of a unique feature of Tipsy Tow, is that well if we tow your vehicle home, one of the biggest challenges when it comes to someone making the decision to drive or not is they don’t want to leave their vehicle, so Tipsy Tow solves that problem by actually towing their vehicle home,” Donatti said.
Tipsy Tow runs from 6pm on New Year’s Eve to 6am New Year’s Day. Donatti says AAA is not against people celebrating the New Year, but believes revelers should have a designated driver or other safe way to get home.
