Friday night, more than 17 million people watched Diane Sawyer's interview with Bruce Jenner, in which Jenner publicly announced that he identifies as a woman.

One of the many conversations that has come out of that interview is about Jenner's position of privilege and how his experiences as a transgender woman are much different than those of many trans people.
