Reaching the Digital Generation with News and Information will inlcude discusstions about

  • The latest digital media technologies SPOT 127 teen reporters use to access news and information and produce their stories.
  • How news organizations are meeting the demands of teens.
  • The technological challenges newsrooms face and how they distribute content across multiple platforms.
  • The opportunities and challenges of social media.
  • The storytelling techniques and journalism ethical standards teen reporters follow.
  • The dangers that exist in digital media and cyberspace and how to avoid them.
  • How all teens can apply and benefit from SPOT127 strategies as they venture into digital media to tell their own stories.
