Phoenix: Love it or leave it

People move to Phoenix for countless reasons, and they leave the Valley for just as many. Should the 'creative class' keep trying to change Phoenix or leave for a more established place?Sustainability and architecture journalist Taz Loomans explains why she moved from Phoenix to Portland.

Author Laurie Notaro talks about why she moved from Phoenix to Eugene, Ore. after 30 years here — but why there are still a lot of things that make Phoenix the better place.

Journalist and commentator Robrt Pela says there's nothing wrong with trying to change Phoenix, but keeping low expectations would be wise.

EDITOR'S NOTE (2/28/13): Although Laurie Notaro's list was about Phoenix, she actually resides in Eugene, Ore.
