Man convicted for murder of Tucson imam

A man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the 1990 death of a Tucson imam.

Pima County prosecutors say Glen Francis was found guilty of killing Dr. Rashad Khalifa over his religious teachings. Francis had been living in Canada with a false name and wasn’t arrested until three years ago.
