Investigation launched into beef from ill cows

Federal regulators are trying to find out whether beef from sick cows reached the human food supply through a Central California slaughterhouse near Fresno.

Officials have shut down the facility after receiving an animal welfare video which shows workers mishandling the slaughter of cows that are struggling to walk or to even stand.
