The Friends of Public Radio Arizona added three new board members to its team last month: John McDonald, vice president, Corporate Communications for US Airways; Julie Johnson, executive vice president of GPE Commercial Advisors; and Adam Isaacs, director of communications and sustainability for Sun Orchard.

The 20-member volunteer board of community leaders works to assure the vitality and future excellence of KJZZ and KBAQ 89.5.

Among the top priorities for the 2012 board are to increase awareness and support for KJZZ and KBAQ by helping the stations develop and launch a dynamic marketing and promotions campaign.  Also on the agenda is helping KJZZ fully develop its new Youth Media Center, SPOT 127.

We are grateful to have FPRAZ and you on our team.
