9 O'clock Jazz Special for 1/31

Bobby Hutcherson Vibe player Bobby Hutcherson is not as well known as Milt Jackson or Lionel Hampton, but he is the bridge to today's contemporary players.  His adventurous harmonic ideas and positive attitude led players like Joe Locke and Stefon Harris in new directions.  Hear Hutcherson from his early bluesy recordings with Grant Green to his own imaginative work with Renee Rosness in 2007.  It's a good vibe tonight on the 9 O'clock Special.
