Arizona Republic Owner Gannett Explores Media Merger
The newspaper industry is on the cusp of undergoing another dramatic change, and this one would directly affect Arizona residents and journalists.
Gannett, the owner of the Arizona Republic and USA Today among others, is reportedly deep in talks with GateHouse to merge into one company. John Leach is former managing editor of The Republic and currently an adjunct journalism instructor at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He joined The Show to talk about the Gannett-GateHouse chatter.
