US Forest to add large firefighting planes

Forest officials are expanding their fleet of tankers to help fight wildfires. The U.S. Forest Service announced Monday it will add seven planes that can fly faster and drop more fire retardant than its current fleet.

Gladiator Fire completely contained

Fire crews have fully contained the Gladiator Fire near Crown King in northern Arizona. Officials say certain areas are still closed for safety reasons, but residents are allowed to return to their homes.
