Areas already crippled by Hurricane Sandy are dealing with the effects of a nor’easter storm. 

House Republicans vote to end loan guarantees for renewable energy projects

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill eliminating government loan guarantees for renewable energy projects, but the law isn’t likely to make it through the Senate. 

Sunday storms cause floods, knock out power

Severe storms in Tucson yesterday downed power lines and caused flash flooding. The Tucson metro area saw between 1 inch and 2.5 inches of rain Sunday afternoon and evening.
