The Democratic candidates for Congress in Arizona's new 9th district met Wednesday evening, at a candidate forum sponsored by KJZZ. They discussed how to bring jobs to the area, plans for dealing with illegal immigration, their thoughts on solar energy and much more.

Difference in tax measure’s language deemed minor error

Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett said he would not put a sales tax measure on the ballot because paper and electronic language differed. Early Wednesday morning a Maricopa County Superior Court judge decided that it was a minor error and that the measure is valid.
