Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is planning to file a lawsuit challenging the city of Bisbee's new civil union ordinance. He's also continuing efforts to challenge marshals in the polygamous community of Colorado City.

Utah’s Attorney General is in court this morning to explain why he is refusing to pay five point seven million dollars in debt incurred by managers of a communal land trust once run by a jailed polygamist sect leader.

The U.S. Justice Department is suing towns in Arizona and Utah said to be controlled by a fundamentalist Mormon sect. 

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is giving more than $400,000 to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to pay for patrols in Colorado City. He says it's needed because the town’s police department is effectively controlled by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
