A judge has allowed a death row inmate to move forward with his request to be executed quickly.

The state of Arizona is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to allow the state to execute a 70-year-old death row inmate for killing a Bisbee man more than three decades ago.

Prosecutors are seeking a warrant to execute an inmate convicted of murdering an elderly man more than 30 years ago. 70-year-old Edward Schad has been on death row since 1985. 

Convicted Serial Shooter Dale Hausner has asked the state Supreme Court to expedite his pending execution. Hausner was sentenced to death for killing six people in the mid-2000s.

Convicted killer Daniel Wayne Cook has a new execution date.

The Arizona Department of Corrections will not have all the lethal injection serums for the two death sentences scheduled over the next 10 days.
