County attorneys challenge Brewer over medical marijuana law

All but two of Arizona's county attorneys have signed a letter to Governor Jan Brewer asking her to stop the licensing of medical marijuana patients and dispensaries. They say it's too dangerous for the state to run a program that violates federal law.

Maricopa County Public Health has announced the first recorded death of an infant from whooping cough since 2009. 

Jails in Yavapai County to begin scanning inmates' irises

Yavapai County is rolling out some new technology to keep track of inmates. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is installing equipment to identify prisoners by scanning their irises.
