Some Arizona County Health Departments are dealing with the national shortage of a common drug used to test patients for Tuberculosis.  TB testing with Tubersol, a solution that is shot under the skin, will be temporarily suspended by the Pima and Yuma County Health Departments until supplies are available again.

Arizona Senator John McCain says the 'Gang of Eight' is continuing to work on an immigration reform bill. And he told interviewers on CBS' Face the Nation what he expects will be in it. “We need to have a path to citizenship and we need to have secure borders, and we also have to address the issue of 40 percent of the people who came here illegally, they didn’t cross our borders; they came here on a visa and overstayed their visa,” McCain said.

A new report says voluntary programs to keep mercury thermostats out of the trash in Arizona, and across the country, are failing. Michael Bender of the Mercury Policy Project says the programs, run by manufacturers, have captured just a small portion of the thermostats that have come out of service in the last ten years.

Senator John McCain says the saber-rattling coming out of North Korea could be a problem. McCain told interviewers on CBS' Face the Nation on Sunday, China could help stop North Korea. “China does hold the key to this problem,” McCain said.
