Salt River Project Company confirmed that a Nevada utility wants to sell its share of a coal-fired power plant in northern Arizona. It’s the latest in a series of financial hits for SRP.Nevada state lawmakers have approved legislation that allows Nevada Energy Incorporated to sell its 11 percent share of the SRP-operated Navajo Generating Station by 2019.

A new line of baby food is hitting the market this summer. Beech-Nut and Latino based food company Goya have joined to create Latino flavored food. The Swiss-based Beech-Nut Company and Spain’s Goya Food are launching what they call Latin flavored baby food combinations.

Public school employees in Flagstaff are set to see pay increases. The Flagstaff Unified School District approved the raises earlier this week. The Arizona Daily Sun reports, it is the first significant pay increase for the district's 1,300 employees in five years.
