The state of Arizona has accused the country’s biggest prescription drug wholesaler of price gouging.  The McKesson Corporation distributes pharmaceuticals to big stores like Albertson’s, Costco, and Walgreens.

Utah's 78-year old Senator Orrin Hatch, who's running for reelection this Fall, has faced criticism from his Democratic opponent that he's too old. Scott Howell has distributed a fundraising letter urging support for him in part because Hatch could die before a potential next term would end.

Judge Susan Bolton has allowed what's considered the most controversial part of Arizona's SB1070 immigration enforcement law to take effect. It's the so-called 'show me your papers' provision, and now law enforcement officers in the state are going to have to figure out how to apply it properly and without racially profiling anyone.

If it's approved by voters in November, Proposition 204 would make permanent a one-cent sales tax increase approved by voters in May of 2010. That increase was passed enthusiastically, and the campaign was led by Governor Jan Brewer.
